What is morrow?
morrow is all-in-one film production software. You upload your screenplay and morrow generates a script breakdown, a line-item budget priced against real local rates, a shooting schedule, a shot list, and call sheets — all kept in one live source that updates when the script changes.
How does morrow work?
You start a project and upload your script. morrow reads it and produces the breakdown automatically, then uses that to build the budget, schedule, shot list, and call sheets. From there you refine anything by hand, and every document stays in sync with the script.
Do I need to install anything?
No. morrow runs in your browser — there is nothing to download or install. A mobile app for on-set team communication is on the way.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. morrow is free for 15 days with no credit card required, so you can run a real project through it before you pay.
Script breakdown
How does the automatic script breakdown work?
You upload a screenplay and morrow tags it scene by scene — cast, locations, and elements — without you highlighting each item by hand. You can then edit, add, or remove tags before everything flows into the schedule, budget, and call sheets.
What file formats can I upload?
You can upload a screenplay as a PDF today, and import scenes from a CSV. Fountain and Final Draft import are on the way. Location addresses are geocoded via OpenStreetMap.
Can I edit the breakdown after morrow generates it?
Yes. The automatic breakdown is a first pass. You can adjust any tag or scene, and your changes carry through to the documents that depend on them.
Budget
How does the AI budget work?
morrow turns your breakdown, cast size, locations, and shoot days into a line-item budget automatically, so you start from a real estimate instead of a blank template.
What does "priced against real local rates" mean?
Instead of generic placeholder numbers, morrow prices line items against the real market rates for where you actually shoot, so the estimate reflects your production’s location rather than a one-size-fits-all template.
What is the risk score?
morrow scores your budget and schedule for risk, flagging where an estimate or a shoot day is likely to break, so you can find the weak points before the shoot rather than on it.
Can I keep different versions of a budget?
Yes. morrow keeps version history for budgets, so you can compare options and roll back to an earlier version.
Schedule
How does the shooting schedule work?
morrow builds a shooting schedule from your breakdown, grouped by location, cast availability, and day or night, and keeps it in sync as the script changes.
What is the day-count cost optimizer?
On the Indie and Studio plans, morrow can optimize the schedule to reduce the number of shoot days, which is usually the biggest lever on cost, and gives the schedule an AI Scheduling Score.
Can I keep different versions of a schedule?
Yes. Schedules have version history, so you can compare cuts of the plan and restore a previous one.
Shot lists & call sheets
Does morrow create shot lists?
Yes. morrow produces a structured shot list per scene — shot type, camera movement, lens, and notes — that you can refine.
How do call sheets work in morrow?
morrow auto-fills the cast, crew, and scene sections of a call sheet for each shoot day from your schedule and breakdown. You add the logistics, and the sheet stays current as the plan changes.
Crew & collaboration
How do I bring my team into a project?
You invite teammates with seats and roles. The Solo plan is for one person, Indie is for up to 3 users, and Studio is for up to 10.
How do crew members submit their information?
You send a crew info form as a link, with your own custom questions, and their answers come straight back into the project — no re-typing contact details.
Can I share a read-only link with people who don’t have an account?
Yes. You can share a read-only view link to a schedule, call sheet, budget, shot list, breakdown, roadmap, or crew form, and whoever you send it to can open it in a browser without an account.

morrow is free for 15 days, then Solo is $39/mo, Indie is $69/mo, and Studio is $179/mo (shown in euros for eurozone visitors). Every plan includes the core tools; the day-count optimizer and AI Scheduling Score are on Indie and Studio.
Do I still need a separate screenwriting tool?
morrow is not a screenwriting editor — it starts from a finished script. Most teams write in their screenwriting tool of choice and use morrow for everything after: breakdown, budget, schedule, shot list, and call sheets.
